This is my own personal favorite time of year, a time where life is a bit slower, days seems longer, filled with more joy as friends and family more easily come together and enjoy the sunshine. In the floral world, there are lots of weddings, events galore, lots of work and hustle and bustle so business is strong, but so is playtime! Life is busy and full and rich! Work Hard / Play Hard is never more true than in late July, and I don't know about you, but I for one love every minute of it.
Late July marks the arrival of local Canadian products and a nice deepening of the Cymbidium dossier. Approaching the peak of Cymbidium season in New Zealand means a lot of "WOW Quality", lots of grading options, fantastic mixes, sharp prices and a dizzying array of varieties to choose from.
